Samir “Mr. Magazine” Husni
Samir Husni, aka "Mr. Magazine"™, is the director of the Magazine Innovation Center at the University of Mississippi, School of Journalism. He is also Professor and Hederman Lecturer at the School of Journalism.
Dr. Husni is the author of the annual Samir Husni's Guide to New Magazines, which is now in its 25th year. He is also the author of Magazine Publishing in the 21st Century, published by Kendall Hunt, Launch Your Own Magazine: A Guide for Succeeding in Today's Marketplace published by Hamblett House, Inc. and Selling Content: The Step-by-Step Art of Packaging Your Own Magazine, published by Kendall Hunt. He is the editor of The Future of Magazines.

Alisa Cromer launched the first Angie's list-style review site for media technology, MediaExecsTech during her fellowship. The site was developed by LocalMediaInsider for its more than 400 media subscribers. Local Media Insider is an online trade journal serving local media executives in television, radio and newspapers who are developing digital business models.
Neil Berman is a pioneer in the email marketing Industry, founding Delivra in 1999 from his kitchen table. The entrepreneur has grown the company to deliver over 2 billion emails annually. Delivra has been an Indiana's Best Places to Work each of the last 4 years and named to the Inc. 5000 List for three consecutive years as one of one of America's fastest growing companies. The Indianapolis-based company offers customized digital marketing software and services to small businesses in all industries and verticals, including Lakewood Media, Indy’s Child and Indiana Business Journal.
Liz Zack is the Editorial Director of New Jersey Family, overseeing editorial strategy for both print and digital. In the six months she’s been in the role, average monthly uniques are up 92%. Prior to joining New Jersey Family, she was the Editorial Director of iVillage and iVillage UK, where she oversaw channels such as parenting, entertainment, food and health. In her four years there she led multiple redesigns, doubled site uniques and increased social referrals by over 300%.
